The Halifax Airport

So here I am, sitting in the quiet Halifax airport, waiting for my final connection. There are many interesting things to observe. Like the lovely green rolling hills with the spindly pine trees, and the cloudy sky, and the mother with two children on a furry leash.
This has been my first flying experience and it has proved safe and professional. I thought that the take-off was great fun, the topography of the clouds mesmerizing, and the baby that cried behind me partly annoying, but also soothing, as it reminded me of the babies at daycare that I miss. The man sitting beside me from Montreal to Halifax grumbled about the redundancy of the beginning flight attendant spiel. "As if anybody here hasn't been on an airplane before. This is pointless," he said. He had a goatee and a pinky ring. I tried to think of something snarky to say but couldn't. So I went to sleep.
I have now successfully killed a fair amount of time. I will board my final flight in a little more than an hour. Here we go again.
